About Walkfest
Now in our 21st year, Walkfest is a community project run entirely by volunteers, acting as an “umbrella” to bring many groups together and promote walking, learning and enjoyment of the great outdoors.
The month-long celebration of walking is designed to get people of all ages and abilities out and about, in and around our beautiful town and the surrounding countryside.
Whether you are looking for short informative walks, long rambles or anywhere in between, Walkfest has something for you.
