Catalyst Wellbeing Walk with David Rose

Come on a light easy walk in Guildford and learn about the history and culture of the local area.

Time: 11 am to 12 noon

Meet: The Hive Community Centre, Park Barn Dr, Guildford GU2 8EN

 Any travel advice: Guildford is well served with bus connections from Guildford main bus depot to Park Barn using the number 4 or 5 bus to get you there.

​

Description of walk: Join David Rose for a short wellbeing walk starting and finishing at The Hive community centre in Park Barn. The walk takes in some of the green spaces in this part of Guildford including the locally named ‘reservoir hill’ with some great views over Guildford and on towards the London skyline. Then down through Westborough Woods and back through the Westborough estate via more green spaces. Cafe at The Hive ideal for refreshments before or after the walk

 

Any specific walk conditions / issues:  This is a relatively flat walk, please dress according to the weather conditions.

Dogs allowed / not allowed?  Dogs on leads allowed.

​

Length of Walk:  1 Mile (1.6 km)

​

Book:  No need to book, just turn up at the Hive for 11am on the day.
