TUESDAY 14 SEPTEMBER

Part 2 of our pilgrimage to Winchester, taking in the route from Farnham to Alton

Every Tuesday across the four weeks of Guildford Walkfest we will follow a section of the North Downs Way or St Swithin's Way on our journey from the Cathedral town of Guildford to Winchester  Please feel free to join us on this section and any others you fancy.  There is no requirement to complete all four parts.

A lovely walk along the St Swithin's Way from Farnham to Alton.  This part of the walk departs north of the town, and heads West through farmland and woods.  We pass Pax Hill outside Bentley and the church of St Mary's.  Surrey gives way to Hampshire and the way continues through Froyle.
