About the event
Description of walk: Whitmoor is a local Nature Reserve managed by Surrey County Council and is recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Protection Area (SPA) to protect rare, vulnerable and migratory birds. It is the largest area of open heathland in the Guildford area and has been awarded the highest standard for heathland management by Natural England.
