About the event

Join DG Outdoor Adventures on this lovely easy going flat-ish walk around East Clandon, West Clandon and Hatchlands. This is a lovely walk for people that enjoy a leisurely stroll rather than a hike and is great for people who are new to walking in the Surrey Hills with very few rises and lovely scenery all the way round.

The walk starts at Clandon Station and is fully guided, safe and fun. You can arrive by train or park in the station car park but meet outside the station gates of platform 1 for a 10:00 prompt start.

Bring with you suitable hiking clothes for the weather and please note that if it has been raining it may well be a bit soggy in places underfoot. Also bring a packed lunch and nibbles for the route as well as fluids for hydration.

The Walk should ideally take no more than 4 hours but depending on the speed of the group it will probably be a bit less.

Dogs are welcome but please note that there are stiles and farmland as well as part of the route going through Clandon Regis golf course so we do insist they are kept on a lead.

Our walks are fully insured and run by trained first aiders that have many years of experience leading groups of people. This walk is free with Guildford Walkfest but donations are very welcome at point of booking.
