Guildford Sunset Hike

Join DG walk leader and North Downs Way Ambassador Pete Lambert on this lovely evening hike to hopefully, enjoy an Autumnal sunset on the Mount.

This event starts at 17:15 prompt so please be outside The White House (by Guildford Town Bridge) well before

This lovely 6-mile, scenic walk takes us along the River Wey and up onto the North Downs Way and shortly before we get to Compton we turn off towards the Mount to hopefully get some lovely sunset photos.

Bring with you suitable walking clothes for the weather, plenty of water/fluids and some nibbles for energy. It is also very advisable to bring a head torch/hand torch for the journey down just in case it is dark.

The walk is relatively easy going until we turn off at the Compton cross roads and then rises quite quickly.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on…
