About the event
Description of walk: 2025 marks the 19th year of Guildford Walkfest. Join us for our 2025 launch event with the Mayor of Guildford and hosted by Christine Howard - President, Surrey Hills Society and Chairman, Guildford Walkfest.
Arrive from 10.00am for refreshments (optional, at own cost) at The Percy Arms in Chilworth. The official launch will take place just before 10.30am followed immediately by a short stroll through the nearby Gunpowder Mills site, led by Ken Bare who is the Coordinator of Walkfest and who has led many walks around this area.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to conservation repair works, the walk route will now include a flight of about 8 steps
