Any travel advice: Bus 2 from Guildford Friary Bus station, Bay 8; alight in Grange Road at Railton Road, then walk along Railton Road to QE Park Centre. By car; from Grange Road turn into Railton Road to park adjacent to Centre. Refreshments will be available at the QE Park Centre after the walk
Description of walk: Babies but not Toddlers are invited to enjoy a wander on Buggy friendly paths on Whitmoor. It is a local Nature Reserve managed by Surrey County Council and is recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Protection Area (SPA) to protect rare, vulnerable and migratory birds. It is the largest are of open heathland in the Guildford area and has been awarded the highest standard for heathland management by Natural England.
Any specific walk / conditions issues: There is a main road to cross before reaching Whitmoor Common. Some areas are a bit boggy but that adds to the fun.
