Description of walk: Level walk from the Jolly Farmer along the ‘summer ride’ (along the rail line), crossing the rail bridge (waving at passing train drivers), a circular walk through the woodland and heath next to Burdenshott Road, re-crossing the rail bridge, walk across Whitmoor heath and grassland, joining the boardwalk to walk across marshland to the pond, return to the Jolly Farmer pub.
