Date: Friday 16th September

Time: 10.15 am for 10.30am start. Anticipated finish about 1pm

what3words address: ///necks.fund.rats

Grid reference for start point: SU995492

Description of walk: This walk takes us through some residential areas leading up to The Mount, via Guildford Cemetery where we see some of its special features, before heading along the ridgeline to the Hogs Back and a visit to the Kernow Stone.  Dropping down the slope we then follow the North Downs Way back as far as St Catherine’s Chapel before returning to our start point via the path alongside the Wey

Any specific walk / conditions issues:  A reasonable level of fitness is required since the route up to the cemetery is fairly steep and the path down from the ridge to the North Downs Way is narrow and on chalk. Good walking shoes are recommended.

Dogs allowed / not allowed?: Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome

Length of Walk: 5 miles (8km)
