Newlands Corner, Chilworth Gunpowder Mills, The Chantries and St Marthas Church

A moderate walk to get the legs moving and to enjoy some stunning views

​Description of walk: Starting at Newlands Corner we walk down to and along the Pilgrims way, branching off down Colyers Hanger to the Tillingbourne and then to the Chilworth Gunpowder Mills for a coffee stop. We continue west, walking through open fields with a view of The Chantries on our right. Then joining the North Downs Way continue up to St Martha's church with its fantastic views for our picnic lunch stop. Returning back up to Newlands Corner to finish the walk.

There is a cafe and toilets at the Newlands Corner start point. Bring your own coffee and picnic lunch.
